Our fishing trip for Cobia was practically perfect. Captain Wayne and his first mate TJ were thorough in explaining everything, covered all our needs and found some incredible fish! They were both professional and fun and made the day so enjoyable for our whole family. We would highly recommend booking a charter with Chasin' Wake Charters! We plan to make this a family tradition in the future; they took such good care of us all.

The captain was incredibly knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He put us right on the fish from the start, and we stayed on them for the entire two-hour trip. Constant action, great conversation, and an all-around excellent experience.

Captain Wayne was personable, knowledgeable, and great company on the water. He made sure my eight-year-old son was involved and kept us on fish throughout the trip. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely book with him again the next time we're in Hampton. Highly recommended for both first-time and experienced anglers.

Wayne is a top-notch captain and an even better person. My wife was extremely nervous at the start of the trip and was lying on the bow trying to settle her nerves. Within an hour, thanks to Wayne’s patience and encouragement, she was confidently driving the boat from the upper deck. We had an amazing time and can't thank him enough. Looking forward to our next trip with Wayne!

Very experienced and professional captain with top-quality gear and a well-equipped boat. Despite challenging conditions and a tough bite for drum, he worked hard to locate several schools of fish and gave us every opportunity for success. I highly recommend booking a trip with him.

The captain was excellent from start to finish. Communication during the booking process was clear and timely, and he was both knowledgeable and friendly throughout the trip. He was especially great with my son, who loves fishing, and made sure he had an amazing experience. The boat was spotless, the marina was easy to access, and the entire trip was one we'll never forget. I highly recommend booking a trip with him.

This was our first trip to Virginia Beach and our first family fishing trip — and it could not have gone better. The evening was beautiful, the boat was very clean, and the crew was incredibly friendly. Our kids connected with them right away, and they made the whole outing smooth and enjoyable. We visited several fishing spots and they were flexible with what we wanted to do, which we appreciated. We left already talking about coming back — next time we’ll either do the sunset trip again or try the ocean trip. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any option. Highly recommend! Pricing was fair and the experience was well worth it.

We booked the sunset cruise and fishing charter and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Captain Wayne is one of the nicest and most genuine people you’ll meet. He was incredibly attentive and patient throughout the trip. He gave us several options, from fishing to dolphin watching to just cruising along the coast, and was very flexible with whatever we wanted to do. It was clear he wanted to make sure everyone on board was having a great time. Overall, it was a fantastic trip, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Captain Wayne again. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing time on the water. Captain Wayne and first mate Austin make a great father-and-son team and clearly work hard to make every trip memorable. Their teamwork and dedication really showed throughout the day. The highlight was watching our son catch a cobia. The smile on his face said it all. It was a moment we won’t forget. Captain Wayne was fantastic! My son caught a 60-inch cobia for his 14th birthday, and it turned into an unforgettable experience.
